Christmas

Oh my gosh...it's that time of the year again...
Christmas is just around the corner.
The talks in town are about gifts, where is it going to be? what are we going to cook?
What can I get this person, and that one? I don't want to miss anyone!

It's time again we start listening to Christmas carrols, beautiful and inspiring music that make us feel joyous, generous, good. It's time to light up the house, bring home the largest Christmas tree we can afford, and decorate every corner. It's the time we wrap up the gift packages and open up our hearts... 

It's the time when everybody feels something different and special going through the mind. We want to be better, we want to help others, we want to make up for the time lost, to bring back memories of old, to start again...so many feelings go through our heart. So many good intentions are birthed...
For some reason we want to be better!

We want to give more, to forgive more, to have peace and to bring peace.
We want to share and we even agree to have less so someone can have some.

I ask myself... Why? Why do we feel different? Why do we experience a change in our heart and mind and will?
Why is it that we want to be more friendly, more generous, more caring, giving, loving?

Is it because there is something in the air, besides the cold and the snow?
Is it because we celebrate something special, like the Season? Something unique?
Is it because we celebrate the birth of a baby that didn't have a room in a hotel?
- The birth of Someone really unique, the Only One that was born to give the ultimate gift?

It is in the air...the love that flows from Him - the baby that was born.
Love is in the air...generosity is in the air...forgiveness is in the air...compassion, caring, good will... and all these could only arrive... because there is something in the air...and it is HIS LOVE.

HIS LOVE, which is abundant, sacrificial, pure, holy, withou limit, without comparison, enourmous, totally fulfilling, satisfying, immeasurable, perfect and unconditional.

There is something in the air...and it is JESUS.

The ONE who was born for you.
The ONE who died for you.
The ONE who came to give you the greatest gift of all - eternal life in Heaven.
